Dear Students,
River Valley High School (RVHS) is organising the #startathon Junior, as a post-examination competition for students from Secondary 2 to 4 (but SST will only send Sec 2 and Sec 3 teams) in 2022.
2. #startathon Junior is a competition that aims to promote creativity and inventive thinking through entrepreneurship and value creation. Participants will apply their problem-solving, entrepreneurial and communication skills in this exciting innovation event designed for young coders, dealers, makers, designers and empathisers, who will have an opportunity to rapidly ideate, prototype and validate their business ideas.
3. The details of the event are as follows:
Date: 11 & 12 Nov 2022 (Fri & Sat)
Venue: River Valley High School
4. More information about this competition can be found in the attached Information Sheet.
5. As each school can send only up to 2 teams, it will be first come first serve.
8. The champion team will stand to win up to $1000 in prizes. Other winning teams will also receive attractive prizes, including book vouchers and various exciting category awards.
9. If you are interested, form a team of 5, email Mr. Lam (lam_hin_chew@sst.edu.sg) with the following full details: Full name, class, role in the competition (see above 5 roles) and mobile number. Also decide who is the leader of the team. Students who register on their own without the approval of the school will not be recognised and will be withdrawn.
10. The deadline for registration with Mr. Lam is this Friday 21 Oct, 1 p.m.
